We want to sell multigrain atta with AI — but we don't know what to build or what to call it.

— Client briefing · Maninder Singh

The story

The story.

Maninder Singh came to Kyrex with a category and a conviction: multigrain atta, sold direct-to-consumer, with AI involved somehow. He had an animation in mind. That was it.

There was no company. No name. No brand. No product concept. No business model.

What exists today — the name OneAtta, the company One India Foods Private Limited, the blend customiser, the AI analysis engine, the AttaPoints economy, the Play section, the Trending Blends system, the Recipes section, the referral mechanics, the packaging design, the brand identity, and the entire technical architecture — is Kyrex's work.

This is not a build engagement. This is a founding engagement.

Direct from client
Before Kyrex, OneAtta was not even a name. Forget about the company.

What Kyrex created

01 — The name and company

Kyrex coined the brand name "OneAtta" and the legal entity name "One India Foods Private Limited." Both were Kyrex's recommendations — the name chosen for simplicity, memorability, and category ownership in the D2C food space.

02 — Brand identity and packaging

Full brand kit: logo, visual identity, colour system, typography, and packaging design. This was Kyrex's first packaging engagement — delivered without a dedicated design retainer.

03 — Product strategy and business model

Everything beyond "sell atta with AI" is Kyrex's product thinking. The product architecture spans three layers:

Product MechanicsDetails
Blend customiserSlider-based composition UI across multiple grain ingredients
Blend save + namingUsers name and save custom compositions
Blend sharing via codeShareable blend codes for distribution
AttaPoints (1 AP = 1 INR)Earn points when others purchase via your blend code
Trending Blends systemMost-purchased and most-shared blends surfaced weekly

The business model insight: every satisfied customer becomes a distribution node via blend codes and AttaPoints. No affiliate programme overhead, no influencer contracts — product-led distribution built into the architecture.

04 — Technical architecture

System designed, architected, and locked by Kyrex before a line of code was written.

LayerTechnology
FrontendMultiplatform — iOS + Android from one codebase
BackendModern backend stack with REST API framework

Video deliveryAdaptive bitrate, multi-quality, origin + edge network

The product — OneAtta

Core — Standard and custom purchase

Users can purchase standard multigrain atta, or open the blend customiser and build their own composition across multiple grain ingredients. Total weight is selected first (e.g. 5kg), then the composition is set via slider — how much wheat, chana, bajra, ragi, and other supported grains, all proportional to the total.

The AI blend analysis

Once a composition is set, the AI engine analyses it across multiple factors before the user commits to purchase. This is the product's primary trust mechanism — it turns experimentation into informed decision-making.

Analysis FactorWhat It Tells the User
Taste profileHow the blend will taste — sweetness, earthiness, nuttiness
TextureExpected roti texture — soft, coarse, dense
Health scoreOverall health rating of the composition
Allergen flagsAny allergens present in the selected grains
Nutritional infoPer 100g — protein, fibre, carbohydrates, calories
Pros and consHonest assessment of the blend's strengths and limitations
Weather suitabilityWhen to eat or avoid the blend based on season/climate
Roti characteristicsHow the roti will behave — pliability, cooking time, colour
Health benefitsSpecific health benefits of the composition for the user

Blend save, share, and earn

Once satisfied, a user saves and names their blend. Each saved blend gets a unique blend code — a shareable identifier that can be sent to anyone. When another user purchases using that code, the original creator earns AttaPoints. 1 AttaPoint = 1 Indian Rupee, redeemable against future orders.

Trending Blends surfaces the most-purchased and most-shared blends weekly and monthly on the homepage — organic discovery without paid promotion.

Play — reel engine

A short-form video section (reel-style) for food and recipe content. Built on adaptive bitrate streaming across origin and multiple edge network locations. Real-time delivery optimised for seamless scroll performance.

Full video upload and processing pipeline built by Kyrex. Admin upload is live. UGC architecture is built and ready — not yet activated pending operational readiness.

Recipes

Step-by-step recipe content tied to specific blends — showing users what they can make with their composition, creating a content layer that drives both discovery and repeat purchase.
